Colleen McCarville Weiglein (RYT 200)
I am a longtime educator & recent FMB resident. In Illinois I taught kindergarteners kindness and inclusion at Village Green Montessori through a combo of the Fox and Trove Kindness Curriculum and yoga.
I completed certification through Yoga Kids International (2010). I branched out in 2018 to offer powerful vinyasa flow classes as well as all levels to adults (RYT200). I seek to create a safe, loving + heart opening environment.
A practicing yogi for well over a decade, Kristen began teaching to share with others the light that lies within each one of us. She received her 200hr teacher training in Venice, Florida, and went on to become certified children’s yoga, in Naples, Florida. Her gentle & energizing vinyasa style classes will have even beginners walking out of class feeling at peace with themselves, and ready for the day.
A Certified Mat Pilates Instructor who loves horses and teaching. I teach for my student or class – one of students said I have a very big tool box and depending on her energy or physical condition for the day – I pull out the needed tools to ensure she will have a successful and rewarding workout. I have high energy so I try to make the classes fun and moving. My goal is for a student to walk out of class feeling physically stronger, more balanced and better about themselves!

On land not underwater.
In August of 2019, I moved to FMB full time. My yoga journey started 12 years ago when I took my first yoga class. Soon I realized that I had gained more than flexibility, I had gained a deep connection of my body that remained with me well off my mat. I have been teaching yoga since September 2015 with instruction in classic, athletes, gentle, yin, iron, aqua, chair, restorative and family yoga. My classes use breath-centered movement and allow students to find an expression of each posture.
My yoga journey truly began as a child with the Lilias Folan show on PBS in the 80s, which aired after Sesame Street. Later, I practiced at the at the Himalayan Institute in Buffalo NY (2000).
Life happens and in my 30's I found yoga with a $5 DVD from the clearance section at Walmart. In 2016, I did my 200-hour training and I still love Lilias Folan videos. My passion is watching students find some space within their bodies and within their minds.
